Madeline Pape, 2023
Madeline Pape is an actor and singer based in Queens, NY.
A lifelong singer, Madeline has experience in a wide variety of genres, ranging from musical theatre, to contemporary, to classical and beyond.
Madeline (she/they) has a Bachelor’s in music from Knox College, where she studied classical voice and participated in numerous choirs and academic pursuits. In her time at Knox College she received multiple awards for academic and musical achievements. Upon returning home to Portland, she began working as a private voice and piano teacher. In the Winter of 2020 Madeline reconnected with her first love: musical theatre. Since then Madeline has been taking private lessons and classes, and auditioning for various shows in and around Portland, Oregon. She booked her first professional role in Winter of 2021, with Stumptown Stages of Portland, Oregon.
Madeline moved to New York City in September of 2022 to pursue Musical Theatre professionally. She enjoys building community amongst other artists who share her belief that the inherently hierarchal nature of professional theatre needs to be challenged. The best of the best are all around us, and moving art can be found everywhere, including small stages.
When she’s not busy auditioning and rehearsing, Madeline can be found training dogs as a certified dog trainer, crocheting, or screaming about the fall of capitalism.
